हा कृष्णाच्युत हा कृपाजलनिधे हा पाण्डवानां सखे
क्वासि क्वासि सुयोधनादपकृतां हा रक्ष मामतुराम् ।
इत्युक्त्वाऽक्षयवस्त्रसम्भृततनुं योऽरक्षदापद्गणाद्-
आर्तत्राणपरायणः स भगवान्नारायणो मे गतिः ॥
आर्तत्राणनारायणाष्टदशकं 4

hā kṛṣṇācyuta hā kṛpājalanidhe hā pāṇḍavānāṃ sakhe
kvāsi kvāsi suyodhanād-apakṛtāṃ hā rakṣa māṃāturām ।
ityuktv-ā’kṣaya-vastra-sambhṛtatanuṃ yo’rakṣadāpad-gaṇād-
ārta-trāṇa-parāyaṇaḥ sa bhagavān-nārāyaṇo me gatiḥ ॥
Ārta-trāṇa-nārāyaṇ-āṣṭa-daśakaṃ 4

O Krishna, the unfailing protector, the ocean of supreme kindness, O sure friend of the Pändava brothers; where are you now, where? Come to my rescue. I , mauled cruelly by Suyodhana in this open assembly, am in utter affliction,’ hearing Draupadi cry like this, who rescued her by making the body stay wrapped in interminable dress; He, Lord Narayana, bent always on redeeming the afflicted, is my sole refuge.
